As of February 2021, AT&T stopped selling subscriptions to their popular TV services. Since the acquisition of DIRECTV, AT&T U-Verse has gone through some changes. While existing AT&T U-Verse customers can still enjoy programming through U-Verse TV, new AT&T customers can experience the same quality of programming through DIRECTV STREAM.

Are AT&T phones unlocked?

No. As is the case with most cell phones, AT&T phones are typically locked to work on the AT&T wireless network. Essentially what this means is that if you buy a phone through AT&T, then it will only work through AT&T wireless network. However, if you ever want to unlock your AT&T phone for any reason, you can submit a request here. Double-check that you meet all the requirements for AT&T to release your phone off their network. Once your phone is unlocked, it’ll be able to operate on another compatible wireless network.
